Spanish Springs Railroad

Trains and transportation systems are a natural interest that I have had since I was a child. I created this project for my father, as I owe him my passion for trains. I really wanted to create something unique and tailored to represent the high desert where he resides. Documenting assets, visiting museums, riding trains; the pool of research for this project spans years. Trains and their graphics represent a rich history of transportation since the inception of locomotives in the late 1800’s. Narrowing down to a final concept was fast but not easy. The result is a modern logo mark on what could be a running railroad some day.
