Network Infra Global Summit
Client: Facebook / Role: Designer / January 2019
Graphic design really stakes its grounds when you have the opportunity to see the work in place. These days, vibe is everything. I was given the opportunity to design the branding for a large event for an international team. The goal was to create an identity that would unify the people around the event. In addition, given the amount of touch points at the event, it had to be scalable. Keeping the design simple is always the most difficult task, but when done right, it can be very successful. My biggest take away from this project was the refinement in my own process and the exposure to maintain a healthy collaboration between client and third party vendors in order to execute the work. The experience has better prepared me for my next big project.

I was hired for a second summit event after the first was a success. This one presented a bit more of a challenge in creating a unifying graphic as they were asking to depict peak efficiency. In the tech world, that means being 99.999 % efficient in whatever you do. Using the numbers as a starting point. I developed concepts and the client settled on the final design you see below.
